Our Backstory

We bring to the market over 40 years experience working within the music industry, both in the UK and Europe .

DRSP started life in the back of an old Ford Transit Double Wheelbase by a Drummer with a computer, a phone , and a ten quid Domain Name. !

Back in the day the founder spent the weekends playing drums and larking around in various Pub, Club and Wedding Bands.

We set up the Agency as the founder was in the fortunate position of having secured some decent work in his then daytime occupation. At first he would simply pass on the contact details of other bands and musicians that he knew at that time , in the hope that they'd be both well rehersed and perhaps freely available to do the work being asked of them !.

Eventually he had a knock to the head and clicked on , that he was seemingly doing the work of an unpaid agent, and he did not know about that !. Thankfully , he also very quickly realised that there was a glaring opportunity staring him right in his face. This was quite simply - Why not set up an entertainment and promotions agency ? , and proudly represent some of the most decent Live Bands and Acts that he knew ( and sometimes played with !! ) and perhaps look towards earning a bob or two commission at the same time?

The good news was that because he was only recommending and putting forward bands which he knew to be good, his customers soon became very happy. This very quickly lead to more and more bookings, purely on the quality of the Band or Act being provided, and of course, the personal reputation and service provision which was clearly in the DNA from the get go and start up !!..
